Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted for firing shots at a Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable at 2900 West Sam Houston Parkway South about 12:05 a.m. last Friday (Aug. 31).
The suspects, Bobby Manuel Anderson (b/m, 32) and Javaun Lamar Skinner (b/m, 28), are charged with aggravated assault against a public servant in the 263rd State District Court. Photos of the suspects, who are not in custody, are not available at this time.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Officers R. Naughton and C. Grahmann reported:
A Harris County Precinct 1 deputy constable was working an extra job at a motel at the above address and was escorting two trespassing suspects off the property. One of the suspects fired shots at the deputy, but he was not struck. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot. The suspects were described only as two black males.
Further investigation led to the identities of the suspects as Anderson and Skinner. They were charged on Tuesday (Sept. 4) and are being sought.
