Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 6800 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 2 p.m. on Saturday (March 14).
The suspects, John Padilla (H/m, 19) and Alvaro Padilla (H/m, 25), are charged with murder in the 184th State District Court. They are accused in the killing of Ryan Lincoln, 46.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to the above address and found Mr. Lincoln behind the driver’s seat of a white Honda Accord. He had sustained a gunshot wound to the left side of his neck area. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Lincoln to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation identified brothers Alvaro and John Padilla as suspects in this incident. Both were arrested on Wednesday (March 18) and subsequently charged for their roles in the shooting.
