Two suspects have been arrested and charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 12347 Fondren Road about 5:40 p.m. on June 24.
Terry Dwayne Ardoin, 21, and Travonte Dejon Ardoin, 25, are both charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 228th State District Court. Booking photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
Shaquille Lewis, 29, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Amri and K. Hale reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a business parking lot at the above address and found the victim outside. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased.
According to witnesses, two suspects, described only as two black males, approached Mr. Lewis and another male and shot Lewis. The second male was not injured. The suspects then fled in a black sedan, possibly a Nissan.
Further investigation identified the suspects as Terry and Travonte Ardoin and, on October 27, they were charged for their role in the fatal shooting. Both suspects are in federal custody.
