Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 9500 Deering Drive about 3 p.m. on March 11.
The suspect, Terry Talley, 58, is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court. A 2023 booking photo of Talley, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
He is accused in the death of Julian Croll, 34.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf II and E. Torres II reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a person down at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics assisting an unresponsive man with a stab wound. Paramedics pronounced the victim, later identified as Mr. Croll, deceased.
According to a witness, two people, described only as black males, were involved in the stabbing and fled the scene in a vehicle.
Further investigation identified Talley as the suspect in this incident and he was subsequently charged today (May 29).
