Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the death of a man in the 6900 block of Hirsch Road about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday (November 19).
The suspect, Alvaro Lovos, 52, is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. A photo of Lovos, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 67, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Detectives C. Flora, G. Zavala and M. Castillo reported:
Officers responded to a report of an assault at the above address and found a man suffering from head and body trauma lying on the sidewalk. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified Lovos as the suspect in this incident. He was subsequently charged on Wednesday (November 20) and remains at-large.
