Charges have been filed against one suspect arrested and another wanted in the shooting of two men at 7745 Long Point Road that occurred about 1:25 a.m. on August 6.
The suspects, Nicolas Toscano Delgado (H/m, 42), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault-serious bodily injury in the 178th State District Court. The second suspect, Jesus Robert Medellin (H/m, 23), who remains at large, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 228th State District Court.

The victim, Juan Reyes, 25, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Detectives also learned a second male, David Garay Vigil, 41, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm during the incident and was transported to an area hospital.

Mr. Reyes drove to an apartment complex at the above address and a confrontation occurred between the persons in Reyes’ vehicle and a group of persons at the complex. At some point, there was an exchange of gunfire between the two groups and Reyes was struck several times. Paramedics transported him to the hospital. Vigil was also wounded in the gunfire and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital. The suspects fled the scene.
Further investigation identified Delgado and Medellin as suspects in this case. Delgado, who was in custody in the Harris County Jail on an unrelated charge, was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.
