UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing of Woman Found at 4500 Idaho Street

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman found at 4500 Idaho Street about 8:55 a.m. on October 28.  

The suspect, Felisha Washington (b/f, 26), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court.  She is accused in the death of Ramona Jones, 51, who died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Ms. Jones was found by a witness lying in a drainage ditch at the above address.  It was determined she had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Further investigation determined Washington and Jones were next door neighbors.  The two had a long-running dispute, which ended with Washington stabbing Jones.  Washington was taken into custody on Wednesday (December 16) without incident.
