UPDATE:  Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 8339 Quail Shot Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman found at 8339 Quail Shot Drive about 8:30 a.m. on May 14.

The suspect, Frederick Lewis (b/m, 45), is charged with murder in the 240th State District Court in Fort Bend County.  A booking photo of Lewis is not available at this time.

The victim, Tiffany Uzor, 40, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Olive and S. Sylvester reported;

An unknown male called 9-1-1 and reported Ms. Uzor had been stabbed in a house at the above address.  HPD patrol officers responded and found Uzor lying on the living room floor.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased.

Further investigation led to the identification of Lewis as a suspect in this case.  He and Uzor had been in a dating relationship for approximately two years.

On May 15, Lewis was charged with murder and was subsequently arrested without incident on May 17.
