Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 8205 Crestview Drive

Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal stabbing of a male that occurred at 8205 Crestview Drive about 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday (May 6).

The suspect, Clarence Lee, 22, is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court. A booking photo of Lee is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Zeke Upshaw, 25.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above address and found a male suffering from at least one stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses stated the victim got into an argument with another male. The male stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

Further investigation identified the suspect as Lee and, on May 8, he was charged with murder. On Monday (May 12) Lee was arrested without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail. He admitted to his role in Upshaw’s death.
