Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 15800 Galveston Road about 3:40 p.m. on June 14.
The suspect, Marquise Lavell Ward, 25, is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court. A booking photo of Ward is attached to this news release.
He is accused in the death of Allen Bianchino, 28.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detectives L. Brooks and J. Gardner reported:
Officers responded to a crash at the above address and found the victim, later identified as Mr. Bianchino, in the driver’s seat of a disabled vehicle. He had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Witnesses stated the vehicle traveled eastbound on Galveston Road and struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle before coming to a stop.
At that time, the wanted suspects were described only as two black males, believed to be between 18 to 25 years of age.
Further investigation identified Ward as a suspect. On December 26, officers with HPD Narcotics Division’s Tactical Team arrested Ward and he was subsequently charged for his role in this shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
