UPDATE: Surveillance Video of Vehicle Sought in Fatal Shooting at 7100 Elbert Street

Houston police have released surveillance video of a vehicle sought in the fatal shooting of a man at 7100 Elbert Street about 9 p.m. on June 6.

The vehicle is described as a  four-door, silver, late-model midsize SUV, occupied by three to four male suspects.  Surveillance video of the vehicle can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/8FG8JWY9q5M

The victim, Kyone Lockett (also known as "Keeda"), 19,  was pronounced dead at the scene.  A photo of Kyone "Keeda" Lockett is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to Elbert Triangle Park at the above address after witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area.  Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Lockett deceased.

Further investigation determined Lockett was with his girlfriend at Tidwell Park when three to four black male suspects, ages 18 to 25, arrived in an SUV.  Lockett left with the males and was driven to Elbert Triangle Park, where he was shot and killed by the suspects in the SUV.  At least one of the suspects is believed to be from the Homestead area and knew "Keeda."

Attached surveillance video shows the suspects' vehicle arriving and leaving Tidwell Park shortly before the murder.
