Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 10221 Club Creek about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday (July 15).
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black T-shirt with some type of image on the front. Surveillance photos of the suspected gunman are attached to this news release.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released several days later. The identities of both men are not immediately available.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Burton and Officer K. Fregia reported:
The victims were outside a nightclub at the above address when two other people began arguing. During the ensuing fight, one individual (suspect seen in photos) produced a gun and fired multiple shots which struck the victims. The gunman then fled the scene.
Surveillance photos were subsequently obtained showing the suspected gunman at a nearby convenience store shortly before the shooting.
