Houston police have released surveillance photos of three suspects sought in the shooting of a juvenile male at 8600 McGallion Street about 11 p.m. on December 29, 2021.
The suspect believed to be the shooter is described only as a black male wearing a black skull cap. The other two suspects are described only as a young-looking Hispanic male and an unknown male wearing an orange and black beanie. Photos of all three suspects are attached to this news release.
The suspects were in a vehicle described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with black rims, possibly a Toyota Camry. It may have been driven by a fourth unknown suspect. A surveillance photo of the vehicle is also attached to this news release.
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. Windham and B. Godoy reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim at a nearby apartment complex with a gunshot wound to the arm. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation indicated the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a nearby convenience store. The suspect also shot at a second juvenile male, 15, who was not struck.
