Houston police have released a photo of a person of interest sought in the fatal shooting of a man at 10350 Lands End Drive about 10:50 p.m. on January 27.
The person of interest is identified as Leo Flores, 20. A photo of Flores, who is not charged, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Jermaine Fields, 20.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detectives M. Perez, A. Hernandez and J. Brown reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and seeing four to six unknown males fleeing the location shortly after.
Further investigation identified Leo Flores as a person of interest.
