Houston police have released photos of a male victim in the investigation into his fatal shooting and the wounding of two others at 7252 Jensen Drive about 4:55 a.m. on September 5, 2017.
The deceased male is identified as Aaron Ballard, 22. Photos of Mr. Ballard are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D. Fontenot, K. Persad and Detectives T. Ferguson and L. Gonzales reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim unresponsive in an apartment that appeared to have been ransacked. He had been shot multiple times. The male, later identified as Mr. Ballard, was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. The two other males inside the apartment had suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals.
Further investigation determined two suspects, described only as black males, entered the residence where the shooting took place. They then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
