Houston police have learned a juvenile male critically injured in a crash at 4000 North Eldridge Parkway about 3:30 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 19) has died.
The identity of the victim, 10, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. A female, Kayli Nguyen, 25, was pronounced deceased at the scene. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and C. Song reported: Ms. Nguyen was driving a gray Toyota Camry northbound at the above address when she lost control of the vehicle, drifted sideways into opposite lanes of traffic and struck a silver Dodge Durango traveling southbound. Paramedics pronounced Nguyen deceased at the scene. The male driver, 48, of the Dodge and a male passenger, 10, were transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Doctors at Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center pronounced the juvenile deceased late Sunday night (Nov. 20). The investigation is continuing.
