Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 4702 Mangum Road about 8:25 p.m. on July 30.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a slim to medium build. The composite sketch is attached to this news release.
The victim, Marlon Gomez, 30, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Saldana and Detective J. Brown reported:
Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Gomez lying on the ground. He had at least one apparent gunshot wound and was deceased at the scene.
Witnesses stated they heard several gunshots and then observed two unknown black male suspects flee the scene in a red vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus X SUV with paper tags. The vehicle appeared to have spray painted black rims.
