UPDATE: Composite Sketch of Person of Interest in Fatal Shooting at 7600 Creekbend Drive

Houston police investigators have released a composite sketch of a male wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 7600 Creekbend Drive about 1:05 a.m. on March 18.

The person of interest is described as a black male, about 6 feet 4 inches tall with a thick, chunky build.  He is dark complected and hunched over in the shoulders.  The male has distinctive tattoos on his neck and arms.  He has a cursive written tattoo on his neck and a picture of a baby girl on his neck or arms.  A copy of the composite sketch of the male is attached to this news release.

The victim, Luis Barragan, 20, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives A. Hernandez and L. Kauffman reported:

Mr. Barragan was shot by an unknown suspect who fled the scene before officers arrived to the apartment complex at the above address.  Paramedics transported Barragan to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.

Further investigation led to a description of a person of interest in this case.
