Two Suspects Wanted, Charged in November Shooting at 633 Rushcreek Drive

Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the shooting of a man at 633 Rushcreek Drive about 11:30 p.m. on November 19, 2022.

One suspect, Ladedas Blackshear, 31, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 183rd State District Court and the other suspect, Anthony Moss, 24, is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury in the 338th State District Court.  The two men are not in custody.  Recent booking photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.

The victim, Warren Danthony Brown, 29, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and has undergone surgeries since the incident.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives T. Forsythe and I. Rios-Hernandez reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and learned Mr. Brown was shot while sitting inside his vehicle in the parking lot.  An unknown suspect(s) approached Brown and attempted to fight him.  The suspect(s) then shot Brown and fled the scene on foot.  Paramedics transported Brown to the hospital.

During follow-up investigations, it was determined there was an argument between Brown and two suspects, who then fired shots at Brown.  The suspects were subsequently identified as Blackshear and Moss.
