WHAT: Travel Trailer Fire
WHEN: April 2, 2022 at 2:41 a.m.
WHERE: 900 block of Ringold, 77088
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $28,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a travel trailer on fire and exposing a nearby travel trailer. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search of the nearby trailer after reports of people trapped. One civilian was assisted out and evaluated by HFD EMS on scene. The utilities were secured, and the fire was controlled within 15 minutes. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews form Stations 31, 13, 58, 67, 30, 34 and Heavy Rescue 11 responded to this incident.
