WHAT: Townhome Fire

WHERE: 10100 block of Beekman, 77043
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $125,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $45,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a 2-story townhome. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. Crews controlled the fire in less than 30 minutes and ventilated the home. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 5, 78, 49, 57 and 77 responded to this incident.
