WHERE: 11000 block of Hammerly Blvd. 77043.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $112,750 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $12,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Act of nature, storm.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to a reported townhome on fire and made entry into several homes until the fire was located. They performed a primary search and secured the utilities. The crews opened the walls and quickly extinguished the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 77, 78, 83, 49, 57, 69, 66 and 49.
