WHAT: Townhome Fire

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy smoke coming from the garage of a 2-story townhome. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search of the unit involved and surrounding units. The fire in the garage and involving a vehicle was extinguished and the townhome was ventilated. The garage sustained heavy smoke and fire damage along with the vehicle parked inside. The living area of townhome suffered from heavy smoke and water damage. Firefighters conducted several searches with no one found. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 2, 68, 10, 60, 69, 51 and 57 responded to this incident.
