Suspects Charged, Wanted in Shooting at 9201 North Loop East

Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the shooting of a woman at 9201 North Loop East  about 7:10 a.m. on June 13.

One suspect, Jonathan Jerome Henry, 31, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 178th State District Court.  The other suspect, Henry James Sherden, 41, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the same court.

Photos of both suspects, who are not in custody, are attached to this news release.

The victim, 19, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective Z. Brumley reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a road rage shooting incident at the above address and were told the victim had been shot at least twice.  She was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.

Further investigation identified the suspects as Henry and Sherden.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and both suspects were charged for their roles in the incident.

Henry and Sherden were last seen in a 2002 black Ford Expedition with Texas license plates 76D123A.
