A witness drove to a food store at the above address when she was approached by a male who she knew, and the two began talking next to her car.  As the two talked, Guillory and an unknown male arrived in a silver Chevrolet Impala and Guillory exited the passenger side with a pistol in his hand.  Guillory confronted the male, and Beal, witnessing the confrontation, retrieved a gun from his vehicle.  Beal then approached Guillory and shot him several times.

Patrol officers driving near the store heard several gunshots and witnessed Beal fleeing the scene with gun in hand.  The officers then detained Beal.
