Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect vehicle wanted in a hit and run crash at 3800 North Braeswood Boulevard about 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday (February 18).
The suspect vehicle is described only as a white SUV. A surveillance photo of the vehicle is attached to this news release.
The female victim, Pamela Pepperell, 70, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. A photo of Ms. Pepperell is attached to this news release.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Detective A. Gomez reported:
The woman was crossing the street above address when was struck by a white SUV of unknown make or model traveling westbound on North Braeswood Boulevard. The driver did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene.
Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
