Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of one of two women found wounded at 5835 Thrush Drive about 9:05 p.m. on May 11.
The suspect, Cerdarian Thompson, 29, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a weapon in the 232nd State District Court. A 2021 booking photo of Thompson, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The victims are identified as Shamira Tallamon, 32, and Angelia Ivory, 54. Ms. Tallamon was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Ms. Ivory was transported in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. Windham and B. Godoy reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. They found Tallamon and Ivory had been shot multiple times. Officers were advised the shooting occurred after a dispute. Paramedics transported both women to area hospitals.
Further investigation identified Thompson as a suspect who fired multiple rounds, striking at least one of the victims. He was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.
