| Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the shooting of a woman at 1333 Crosstimbers Street about 8:40 p.m. on Thursday (December 17).
The juvenile male suspect, 16, has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
The victim, 18, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

After the victim and a male, 20, arrived at a gas station at the above address, the juvenile suspect came out of the business. After looking into their vehicle, the suspect fired a pistol at both victims, striking the woman in the back of the head.
The male driver, who was not wounded, transported the woman to a local hospital. She was then transported via Life Flight helicopter to another area hospital.
The suspect was positively identified and charged in this incident. Currently, he remains at large.
