Suspect Arrested, Other Victims Sought in Sexual Assault Investigation

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested and believed responsible for at least two sexual assault incidents since January 2017.

The suspect, Brandin M. Glispy (b/m, 30), is charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault in the 176th State District Court.

A photo of Glispy is attached to this news release.

Glispy, a former Harris County Precinct 6 Deputy Constable, was assigned to a Houston Housing Authority apartment complex and is believed to have had contact with more than one woman.

The first incident occurred on January 6, at which time Glispy met and spoke with the victim inside the leasing office.  Glispy then encountered the victim later in the day at a nearby local restaurant, while still in full uniform.  The victim was unaware Glispy was waiting in the restroom and, when she entered, he attempted to sexually assault her.  The victim was able to flee.

On April 24, Glispy, while still employed as a Deputy Constable, conducted a traffic stop utilizing his marked Precinct 6 patrol vehicle in the 5800 block of Martin Luther King.  The female victim was directed to drive to a secluded parking lot where she was sexually assaulted.  After the female left, she called 9-1-1 and made a police report.

A subsequent investigation identified Glispy as a suspect in this case and he was charged.  Once allegations were made against Glipsy in April, he was terminated from the Harris County Precinct 6 Constable’s Office.

Investigators believe there may be other victims and are asking anyone with information or who may have had contact with Brandin Glispy to contact the HPD Homicide Special Investigative Unit at 713-308-3600.

**Please note the investigator is not available for interviews**
