Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the stabbing of two women at 9318 East Avenue N about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday (March 9).
The suspect, Cody Glenn Peloquin, 22, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a family member in the 182nd State District Court. A booking photo of Peloquin is attached to this news release.
The victims, 26 and 28, were transported to an area hospital. One victim is in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. Ali reported:
Officers were dispatched to a cutting in-progress call at the residence at the above address and learned two women were stabbed by a known male. Officers apprehended the male (Peloquin) as he attempted to flee the scene. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to a hospital. One of the victims is the suspect’s sister.
Peloquin was charged for his role in the incident and transported to the Harris County Jail.
