Investigators learned Gomez and the female were arguing in one of the bedrooms, when, according to Gomez, the female attempted to strike him with a knife. Gomez then pulled a gun and fired several times, striking the victim. As Gomez fired the gun, one of the bullets exited the bedroom through the wall, striking the juvenile who was sitting in the next room.
