Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of one man and the wounding of another that occurred at 2000 Main at 12:30 a.m. last Friday (June 30).
The suspect, Christopher Ajene (b/m, 26) is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a weapon in the 337th State District Court.
He is accused in the killing of Abel O. Anderson, 22.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Sullivan and Officer A. Barr reported:
Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the above address and found Mr. Anderson and a second male had been injured. Both were transported to an area hospital. Anderson was later pronounced dead. The second victim is in stable condition. Ajene was arrested at the scene without incident.
