Officers were dispatched to a shooting call and located a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway at the above address. The victim was observed in the back seat of the vehicle, had been shot multiple times and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officers located a female witness who claimed to be the driver of the vehicle and a suspect (Andrews), who had a gunshot wound to his wrist.
Detectives determined the victim and Andrews got into an argument while they were in the car that escalated when Andrews shot the victim. Andrews was treated for his wound, taken into custody and subsequently charged in the shooting.
