| Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at 9601 West Montgomery Road about 7:05 a.m. last Friday (June 7).
The suspect, Xzavor Williams, 37, is charged with murder in the 180th State District Court. A booking photo of Williams is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 42, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Hughey and L. Lovelace reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address found a woman had been shot. She was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where she was pronounced deceased. A male suspect was detained at the scene.
Further investigation identified Williams as the suspect and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting. Williams was booked into the Harris County Jail without incident.
