Officers were dispatched to a shooting call to the residence at the above address and were met at the door by a female (Phillips) with blood on her face and arms.  The female directed officers to a bedroom where another woman was found with an apparent gunshot wound.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced the woman deceased.  Officers found a gun in the bedroom and detained the female for questioning.

Phillips told detectives the victim was her wife.  Investigators learned the two women got into an argument, which escalated when Phillips pointed a gun at the victim.  At some point during the argument, the weapon discharged and struck the victim.
