Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a man at 13990 Westheimer Road about 2:05 a.m. on April 2.
The suspect, Nikko Armando Sinisterra, 20, is charged with deadly conduct discharge of a firearm in the 228th State District Court. A booking photo of Sinisterra is attached to this news release.
The victim, 19, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Detectives M. Bellahna and I. Rios-Hernandez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers learned a verbal altercation escalated into a shooting and the victim was struck. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.
Further investigation identified Sinisterra as a suspect in this incident and he was charged. He arrested on June 15.
