Houston police are asking for the public's help in identifying three suspects wanted in an aggravated assault and robbery that occurred at 14805 Grisby around 4:45 a.m. on September 22.
One suspect, Jeremy Michael Lloyd (w/m, 38), is charged with aggravated robbery-serious bodily injury in the 262nd State District Court. A photo of Lloyd is attached to this news release.
The two other suspects are described only as two Hispanic males, 35 to 40 years of age, one of large stature wearing a white T-shirt with black pants and the other of smaller stature, wearing a dark-colored shirt and pants with a pink baseball cap. Surveillance video of the suspects can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/7-S0VTW__pk
The male victim, 36, suffered severe trauma and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition.
According to the victim's mother, she had not heard from him nor had he been to work. After unsuccessfully trying to contact him via phone, the mother contacted apartment complex management and asked them to check on her son. Apartment management went to the apartment and heard someone yelling for help inside. The manager entered the apartment and found the victim severely beaten. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene transported him to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation and surveillance video obtained from the scene determined the victim exited his apartment about 4:45 a.m. that morning and walked toward the parking lot of the complex. He then returned with suspect Lloyd and two other males and entered the apartment. About 45 minutes later, Lloyd and the suspects exit the apartment carrying bags with what are believed to be the victim's personal items.
Further investigation identified Jeremy Lloyd as a suspect in this case and a robbery charge was filed on October 16. The other two unidentified suspects remain at large.
Anyone with information in this case or on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
