Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect sought in the fatal shooting of a man at 5470 Braesvalley Drive about 6 p.m. on Tuesday (May 28).
The identity of victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing blue shorts and a black jacket. Surveillance video of the suspect is attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective S. Chettry reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of an apartment complex and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the armed suspect and the victim were involved in an argument prior to the shooting. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
