Surveillance Video of Suspect Sought in Shooting at 4288 South Kirkwood Road

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man that occurred at 4288 South Kirkwood Road about 11:10 p.m. on April 2.

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in a dark-colored, long-sleeve shirt. Surveillance video of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The victim, 34, is expected to survive his injuries.

HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Sgt. V. Garcia and Detective V. Guerrero-Jones reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a strip center parking lot at the above address and learned the victim had been shot and was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital.

Further investigation revealed the victim and suspect pointed guns at each other, resulting in the shooting. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
