Houston police have released surveillance video of a suspect, two persons of interest and two vehicles sought in the shooting of two men at 2000 Oakdale Street about 2:55 a.m. on March 24.
The suspect is described only as a heavy-set black male wearing a white shirt. One person of interest is a described as a black female wearing a black dress. The second person of interest is described as a black male with a slim build and wearing a white T-shirt.
The vehicles involved are described as a red pickup truck and a white Dodge Ram bearing Texas license plates TJN0461.
Surveillance video of the suspect, persons of interest and the vehicles is attached to this news release.
The two male victims, 37 and 32, were transported to an area hospital in stable conditions.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sergeant V. Garcia and Detective V. Gamez reported:
HPD patrol officers were flagged down by a vehicle near State Highway 288 and North MacGregor Way and observed two males with gunshot wounds in the vehicle. The men told officers they had been shot at the intersection of 2000 Oakdale Street and Almeda Road. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to an area hospital to be treated.
A preliminary investigation determined the victims were shot while waiting at the intersection by an unknown suspect(s), who then fled the scene on foot.
Further investigation and evidence from the scene developed information on the suspect, the two vehicles believed to connected to the suspect and the persons of interest.
