Houston police have released surveillance photos of two men believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 11600 Village Place about 11:55 p.m. on Monday (April 8).
The victim, 28, was transported to West Houston Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives B. Evans and T. Tyler reported:
The victim and a friend were at a nearby convenience store when he got into an altercation with another male. The victim and his friend then left the store and observed a vehicle following them. Someone from the suspect’s vehicle then fired a shot, striking the victim.
The driver of the vehicle, described only as a dark-colored, four-door sedan with white lettering near the top of the windshield, fled the scene.
Surveillance video from the convenience store shows two males standing in line behind the victim at the time of the disturbance.
