Houston police have released surveillance photos of two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 2520 Airline Drive about 4:25 a.m. today (June 6).
The suspects are believed to be two Hispanic males, last seen wearing dark-colored hoodies. Surveillance photos of the suspects are attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Vinogradov and D. Crowder reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the two suspects (pictured below) broke into a business at the above address. As the suspects were leaving, they attempted to steal a golf cart parked near the exit. An employee of the business attempted to stop the suspects and a physical altercation ensued. One of the suspects produced a firearm and shot the victim multiple times. The suspects then fled the scene.
