Surveillance Photos in Fatal Shooting at 7525 Irvington Boulevard

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 7525 Irvington Boulevard about 10:20 p.m. on Sunday (May 29).

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male in a gray or silver, older model Chevrolet Tahoe.  Surveillance photos of the suspect and his vehicle are attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Mark Aguilar, 23.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot at the above address.  Mr. Aguilar was found unresponsive next to the driver’s side door of his vehicle.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Aguilar deceased.

According to witnesses, after placing his order at a food truck in the parking lot, Aguilar went back to his vehicle and sat in the driver’s seat with the door open.  The suspect exited a Chevrolet Tahoe, approached Aguilar and both men exchanged words.  The suspect then shot Aguilar, ran back to his SUV and fled the scene.
