Surveillance Photo Released in Fatal Shooting at 1900 Jensen Drive

Houston police have released a surveillance photo of a suspect wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man at 1900 Jensen Drive about 9:15 a.m. today (November 19).

The victim, believed to be in his 60s, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The suspect is described only as a black male wearing a red hoodie and khaki-colored pants.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address and learned the victim had been transported to the hospital where he died. Detectives reviewed surveillance video and observed the suspect run up to the victim and shoot him in the back.  The suspect then took money and/or items from the victim before fleeing.
