CAUSE: Unintentional - discarded cigarette
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the back yard of a 1-story home. A gazebo was completely engulfed by fire and a nearby shed’s wall was burning. The homeowner was attempting to keep the fire in check with a garden house. HFD crews extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to the home. HFD Arson investigators were requested and determined the cause of the fire was accidental due to a discarded cigarette. Firefighters from Stations 35 and 55 responded to this incident.
