WHAT: Structure Fire.
WHEN: July 26, 2022 at 9:18 p.m.
WHERE: 8300 block of Cook, 77072.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $744,658 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $120,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a structure on fire and forced entry. They made an attack on the fire and prevented the fire from spreading to the nearby wooded area. The power company secured the utilities, and the fire was controlled. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 76, 73, 83, 68, 75, 10 and 57 responded to this incident.
