WHAT: Structure fire.
WHEN: May 11, 2025, at 9:26 p.m.
WHERE: 8501 Veterans Memorial Dr. 77088.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find a metal structure previously used as an auto repair facility fully involved in fire and made a defensive attack. The fire was brought under control and a primary and secondary search were completed. CenterPoint was notified to secure the utilities and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 42 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 67, 15, 4, 31, 58, 74, 84, 30 and Rescue 84.
