PROPERTY SAVED: More than $1 million in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within seven minutes to find smoke coming from the middle of a strip center and made an offensive attack. The roof was ventilated, and crews forced entry into the nearby businesses. A primary search was completed with no one found. The utilities were secured, and the fire was tapped out at 4:30 a.m. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 16, 8, 3,6, 7 and 16 responded to this incident.
