WHAT: Storage Building Fire

DAMAGE: $30 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from a storage building. They extinguished a fire in an open storage unit on the second floor. Nearby units were opened to check for extension. One unit had some charring and was wet down. Crews ventilated and the building and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin of the fire. An inspector was also requested due the possibility of people living in the units. Firefighters from Stations 28, 2, 68, 37, 51, 60, 3, 57 and Hazmat 22 responded to this incident.
