Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 4722 Oakside about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday (August 11).
The victim, Jade Walker, 25, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced her deceased on Sunday (August 12).
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Detectives L. Kauffman and G. Black reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and learned Ms. Walker had been shot in the head while driving in her vehicle. According to a witness inside the vehicle, unknown suspects fired shots from a black, four-door vehicle of unknown make and model. Walker was struck as she was driving with her window rolled down.
